To get to the city one can use airplanes and the city’s airport is one of the busiest in the world. The city is home to several airports, three large and several small ones. The city’s largest airport is named after a former president that is John F Kennedy International Airport. It is advisable to go on time to the airport as the traffic in the city is very bad especially on the expressway to the major airport. There are various ways that one can use to leave the airport, there is the more conversional way and that is using a taxi or if you want to leave in style there is a limousine and car service at the airport. Coach services and shuttle services are also there. There are various modes of transport that one can use to see that city.
The city has a lot of places that would be a pleasure just to hear about them and to visit them a dream. The most famous landmarks include the Statue of Liberty, to get to the statue you need to ride a ferry and it costs about $12. You have to book in advance to get a chance to get to view the museum at the base of the statue. People will be disappointed to note that people are no longer allowed on the crown of the statue and not even the torch. There is the Brooklyn Bridge is a gate way between Manhattan and Brooklyn. For people who want to experience the cultural side of the city there is the Lincoln center.
Central park New York is famous because of the various movies that have been shot at the park. The park is also home to a zoo and various concert venues and a museum of art. The most desirable place to go would be time square the street in New York that has buildings that have video screen that are always spitting images of various kinds. Time square can be a night mare or a great spectacle for visitors as the square is a very busy place and one may not have the time to stand and suck it all in. The Lincoln center offers various art forms like ballet, soap opera, symphonies, movies and art exhibitions. One can just go to the center just to marvel at the great buildings that are there.
The United Nations building is another place to visit. The empire state building is one of the buildings that make up the famous New York City sky line and it is that tallest of the buildings. Wall street is another area to visit and see the place where all the decision that matter are made, the NYSE is the most watched stock exchange center in the world as the happenings there have a bearing on the world economy. The shows on broad way are very popular such that they are long queues to gain entry the shows.
